Class 1 Ebikes

Pedal-Assist Only: Class 1 e-bikes provide assistance only when the rider is pedaling. The motor engages to help the rider reach a maximum speed of 32 Km/h.
Legal Access: These bikes are allowed on most bike paths and trails, Canadian public roads, making them suitable for a variety of riding environments, including mountain biking and commuting.
User Experience: They offer a more traditional cycling experience, as the rider must pedal to receive assistance, which can be beneficial for fitness and control.

EBC-Bison26 M500 – 48V 500W mid-drive & 26×4″ fat tires

We use a Tongsheng torque sensing 48V 500W mid-drive motor for it’s smooth ride and to keep the ebike legal for Canadian public roads.

Our EBC-Bison-M500 model will come equipped with a 48 Volt 500 Watt mid-drive motor and a 13 Ah battery for 624 Wh of power. The Tonsheng display provides 5 pedal power assist levels. There is no throttle mode on this model so the rider needs to pedal to activate power assist.

The sensitivity of the torque sensor drive makes the ride feel most natural.
